Mercedes SLR McLaren(Top 6 car)

Mercedes-Benz SLR Mc Laren is an Anglo-German sports super car jointly developed by
Mercedes-Benz and Mc Laren Automotive. Labeled as the fastest automatic transmission car in the world, this SLR sports car stands as a perfect notch up than the rest. Grouped, as one of the top ten luxury expensive cars, SLR Mc Laren features top configuration, state of art engineering and solid performance. $455,500

This Mercedes-Benz SLR Mc Laren got inspiration from Mercedes Benz 300 SLR of 1955, which was actually based on the W196 F1 car. Assembled at the Mc Laren Technology Center, England, this SLR combines both super car and GT characteristics.
Reading a price tag of $455,500, Mercedes SLR features automatic gearbox, front mid-engine arrangement just like Porshe and Ferrari Enzo and its driving characteristics that ultimately lead some experts to classify the SLR Mc Laren as the Super GT. Unlike most of its contemporaries, Mc Laren’s performance makes it the fastest car with a true automatic transmission with a torque converter.
The SLR Mc Laren can reach a speed 210 mph and has a brake speed of 210 to 0. The SLR also has a spoiler, mounted on the rear integral air brake flap, which increases down force depending on its angle of elevation. What’s more is its front mid mounted engine, sporting a hand built 5.4 liter, supercharged V8 engine. Depending on the source, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approx 3.5 seconds and bears a top speed of 334 km/h.
Furthermore, the car uses carbon fiber for its entire body construction and that makes it bit lighter. To be precise the SLR stands as one of the safest and the most luxurious cars of its class deviating from the practice of eliminating luxuries for the sake of weight reduction.
